“A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in – what more could he ask? A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars”
Events in the garden
About our events
Over the years, we’ve hosted all sorts of events in the garden, including concerts, gardening workshops, art workshops and aromatherapy sessions. We have a big focus on wellbeing, making good use of our swimming pond with year round opportunities for a dip.
Our experience events are led by experienced facilitators who we know and trust, and almost every event includes some form of homemade cake and herbal tea.
Our programme for 2026 includes a flower drawing workshop, the popular monthly Stretch & Swim, Yoga & Swim mini-retreats and three outdoor sound baths.
National Garden Scheme Open Days
Each year, we open under the National Garden Scheme and generally welcome hundreds of visitors to the garden.
On NGS days, we open a pop-up tea-room selling delicious homemade cakes, scones, savoury snacks and teas between 10am and 4pm (gluten free and vegan options are available). We also have a stall selling indoor and outdoor plants, home grown produce and preserves, local honey, fresh bread and our Breathe4Good wellbeing products
Our 2026 NGS day is on Sunday 7 June
Tickets, priced at £10 each (children free), are available from the National Garden Scheme website
Small group openings
We’re happy to be opening the garden again in 2026 to small groups, but we’ve reached capacity for group visits this year. Please contact us if you’d like to sign up to be notified about group visits in 2027

We update our events calendar regularly, so please do come back and see what we have going on - or sign up to our newsletter and you’ll receive information on our events a few times a year
